Living with the work.
How does an art rental begin?+
Send us photos, dimensions, location, timing, and a sense of what you want the space to feel like. We’ll prepare a focused edit of original work and a clear placement proposal.
How long can I keep the artwork?+
Placement lengths vary by project and artwork. Short staging assignments, seasonal residences, and longer workplace rotations can all be considered. Your minimum term and renewal options are confirmed before installation.
What is included in the monthly rate?+
The listed rate covers the artwork placement. Delivery, professional installation, pickup, taxes, and any special handling are presented separately so there are no surprises.
Can I purchase a rented artwork?+
When the artist offers the work for sale, yes. Tell us you want to keep it and we’ll confirm the purchase price, any applicable rental credit, and the ownership paperwork.
Who handles delivery and installation?+
We do. Sling’n Art coordinates the move, installation, condition documentation, and pickup with trusted art handlers appropriate for the work and location.
Buying the work.
Is every work original?+
The collection centers on original works and clearly identified limited editions. Medium, edition information, dimensions, condition, and framing details are included on the artwork page or confirmed before purchase.
How is authenticity documented?+
Available provenance details and a certificate of authenticity are included when supplied by the artist. Sling’n Art also records the artist, title, medium, year, and transaction details.
How is artwork shipped?+
Shipping is selected for the size, surface, frame, and destination. Smaller pieces may ship in art-safe packaging; large or delicate works may require a professional handler and a custom quote.
What if I need help choosing?+
Send us the room. We can recommend work based on scale, palette, sightlines, budget, and how you want the space to feel—without reducing the choice to matching colors.
Putting work in motion.
Can I sell, rent, or offer both?+
Yes. You choose the path for each approved artwork. One piece can be purchase-only, another rental-only, and another available either way.
Who selects the work?+
Every artist and artwork is reviewed to keep the collection intentional. We consider the strength of the practice, presentation, condition, scale, logistics, and fit with current collectors and spaces.
Who sets the price?+
The artist provides existing retail context and goals. We then agree on purchase and rental pricing before the work is listed, including the service share and any placement expenses.
What does Sling’n Art handle?+
We present the work, speak with clients, prepare placement proposals, coordinate payment and logistics, document condition, and manage the path from rental to return, renewal, or sale.
